On this page you can find out about Library and Knowledge support available to local authority public health teams and how to contact your local NHS Library.
Public Health England (PHE), Health Education England (HEE), and local NHS libraries are working together to help local authority public health staff find the evidence they need in their roles. Sixty per cent of local authorities have arrangements in place for local authority public health staff to use NHS library services for literature searches, training and document supply.
Find your local service to discuss options for arranging access.
PHE gives local authority public health teams access to a range or resources, and one-off training can be provided. You can find out more about these on our LAPH Resources page including access to over 1300 public health journals available to local authority public health teams, funded by Public Health England, to supplement national core content.
